LICORICE - The scientific name of licorice is Glycyrrhiza Glabra. Other common names include Cultivated Licorice, Gan Cao, Iriqsus, Kan T'Sao, Kan Ts'Ao, Liquirita, Liquorice, Madhuka, Meyankoku, Mi Ts'Ao, Regaliz, Russian Liquorice, Sus Maikik, Sweetwood, and True Licorice. It contains Calcium, choline, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, silicon, zinc,and vitamins B1, B2. B3 and C. It fights inflammation and viral, bacterial, and parasitic infection. Reduces muscle spasms and promotes adrenal gland function. Has estrogen and progesterone-like effects. Beneficial for allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, depression, emphysema, fever, heresvirus infection, hypoglycemia, premenstrual syndrome and Menopausal symptoms.
